Reference to the back of the body is made in verbs with the medial /-aawigan-/. Verbs for carrying or lifting a load on the back contain a vti final /-oond/ or a vta final /-oom/. Verbs for carrying or lifting a baby on the back contain the vta final /-oom/ followed by the vai final /-aawaso/.
